Life with the Boys

We have been busy keeping up with Kade and Cache. Kaden spends a good part of every day playing "parking lot." He sets up his cars in rows--parallel, perpendicular, two layers deep--and has fun driving them around.

Cache loves to put everything on his head. He knows where his bath washcloths are and where the kitchen washcloths are and he crawls over, helps himself, and then crawls around with a self-donned hat.

We went to the Greatest Show on Earth yesterday! It was a fun circus and the acrobats, elephants, tigers and clowns were lots of fun.

Luke bought a Boom a Ring disc that the clowns were playing with and he and Kaden had a great time playing with it at the park after the circus.

Meet Nickel and Penny. Kade got Nickel from our Primary carnival and we added Penny for company.

Cache bear is 10 months and taking 5-6 steps. He is our little mischievous darling.

Turns out there are lots of fun things to do around our parts. And it is fun to have cousins close. And it is fun to have Daddy home on the weekends!

Road Trip 2011

We made it!! Almost 2200 miles logged, 3 destinations and lots of fun!

First stop: Scipio, to visit my parents on the farm.

The Birthday Boys

Luke is 27 and Kaden is 3! We had a fun weekend on the 22-24 with Luke's bday on the 22nd and J, A and Miles arriving; Kade's bday on the 23rd; and Easter on the 24th. Kaden has been loving trains, so he got a train set and we rode the lite-rail train for his party. He has also been loving Curious George so he got some George things as well.

A series of Cache

The rascal pup will be 6 months old on the 20th. Hard to believe he is so old already. He can sit quite well, rolls all over the place, sucks on anything and everything, and is a darling little guy. We love him!

A visit from Grandma

My mom came to visit this past week and we had a wonderful time! We made yummy food, went to Happy Hollow Zoo, played with the lil' boys, shopped, and talked and talked. Thanks for a fun visit Mom!

Kaden really enjoyed the ice cream sandwich that we all shared and made sure we were telling him the truth when we told him that it was all gone.
