Blog Give-away

My sister Janetta is a lucky lady. In the past few months she has won an IKEA gift card from a radio call-in contest and then a blog give-away from one of our friend's blog. She now is offering a give-away on her blog of 5 handmade items to the first 5 people who comment but the kicker is that if you comment and sign up, you also have to post the give-away on your blog. So now the offer is up on mine. . .cookies, cards, a personal violin concert, a blood pressure check with auscultation of heart, lungs and abdomen, and much more are all for the taking if you want to be a winner on my give-away :)

The injured warrior

Luke sprained his ankle so badly on Wednesday while playing basketball with the Elders quorum at the church. He has been wearing a brace and using crutches and it is still so swollen and starting to bruise. Since this is my field of nursing I am going to start charging him for the personal nurse he has living with him. Actually it has been hard to see him hurt--I have never seen him injured or really sick since we have been married but he is tough and even cleaned up the house for me on Valentine's Day.
