K and C

An ultra close-up of the thigh rolls--can you get enough of a chunky baby?

He's got big ol' blue eyes!

Kade is looking like he is going to be a south paw. I even asked him if he wanted to switch the hand that his pen was in and he looked at me like it was a crazy question.

The king in his throne.

Kade now wears glasses all the time to correct for his far sightedness. His little left eye kept crossing in and so after seeing a pediatric opthomologist he was diagnosed and we got him the awesome specs you see here. The opthomologist said it is quite common for kids who are far sighted to have their eyes cross in when they try to focus on close things and that many kids grow out of it, but for now isn't he cute?

The close ups of Cache are just for you Aubs!

A Wedding and A Tow Truck

Char and Michael are now married! It was so fun to be there with them at the Sacramento Temple on the 31st and then they had a reception on the 1st. They are darling!

My cute boys in their matching pink wedding ties.

The cousins minus Cache.

They had another reception on the 8th in LA and so I headed down with the two boys to attend that. Luke had work and then took his 4th section of the CPA exam and so he couldn't come down with us. I was cruising along in our good old Jeep Ruby in Santa Barbara and was almost to LA and to the end of a long day in the car when all of a sudden the Jeep lost power and I was lucky to make it to the shoulder. I ended up having to get towed in to town to get repaired and was thinking that we were in for a few hundred dollars worth of repairs.

Instead, I had happened upon the nicest mechanics ever. They immediately checked under the hood, found "a wire" that had broken, fixed it, and sent me on my way free of charge. I buckled both boys back in and away we went. I don't know what broke, but I do know that I was taken care of in a situation where I was totally vulnerable. Thank heavens for wonderful people!

Kade thought the tow truck ride was so cool!
