Recipe Replication

It is a pretty good replication if you even have the same pattern of plates as the one pictured in the recipe book! I received "Our Best Bites" cookbook for Christmas from my mother-in-law and have been loving trying so many yummy things. This one is strawberry-lime shortcakes with coconut cream and is so good!

Two Portraits

One of our extremely talented friends, Mary Sauer, painted a portrait of Kaden for one of her BYU projects when we were at school. We loved it so much that we got one painted of Cache. The boys are approximately the same age and each so cute, but so different in their looks. The portrait of Cache is what Luke and I gave each other for Christmas this past year and we now have them framed and hung above our piano.
