Almost there!

We have finally made it and baby Kade could come any time. I have another appointment with the doctor tomorrow and we should have our baby here in the next week or so. I had my last night of work on Friday and have no plans on the calendar so we are ready whenever. Luke has a final on Monday morning and Wednesday morning and a birthday on Tuesday so we'll see if the baby decides to come during any of these events.


This is my Mother's Day and anniversary present that Luke gave to me a bit early. It is really comfortable and I have been practicing rocking so Kaden should fall asleep with no problems!

Wiggly Kaden

I think we will have a little monkey on our hands here soon! I had my 38 week appointment on Monday and baby Kade wouldn't even stay still long enough to get a count of his heart rate--the doctor said that is fine because obvioulsy if he is moving that much he is still healthy. Luke and I have pretty well decided on Kaden Lucas and we alternate between calling him Kaden and Kade. Luke says that the name has to pass the announcing test which is if the name sounds manly when saying "Kade L enters the game" and it passed the test so we are set. The bassinet is all ready and our hospital bag is packed.
