XY it is!!
We had our ultrasound on Monday the 10th and found out we are having a boy!! We are both very excited and Luke has been singing a song "We're having a baby boy" to all sorts of different tunes for the past two days. He has plans for taking our son hunting and fishing and I think the list will get longer and longer. I bought a cute little church outfit and a onesie for the baby (of course they are blue) and now we just wait until April. The baby is measuring perfectly for 21 weeks along and he looks healthy. I feel him move everyday now and we are excited--did I already mention that? Here is the latest picture of my tummy and maybe we will figure out how to scan one of the cute ultrasound pictures on as well.

Go Cougars!!
Two years in a row the Cougars have pulled out a nail-bitting victory against the Utes! I was so sad that we forgot our camera but Luke and I were part of the sold-out crowd in Lavell Edwards Stadium cheering the Cougs to victory 17-10! We are sure even the baby was cheering because it was so exciting. And we always get prime parking right next to the stadium by riding our trusty scooter Daphne. What a great day!

Settlers of Catan
Luke and my Dad have become obsessed with Settlers of Catan since we taught my parents to play two weeks ago. We have played two nights each week with some intense games and hard-nose bargaining. Looks like Thanksgiving Day weekend will be filled with lots of settlements, cities and development cards!
Eighteen Weeks
We have reached eighteen weeks, almost half-way done and almost to
December 10 which is the date for our ultrasound.
Luke and I used to have the same size tummy but now when we
both push out as far as we can I think my belly is definitely bigger!
(Especially since Luke doesn't seem to be trying very hard)

Birthdays at the River
Happy Birthday to Char and Kara! We spent the weekend at the River to celebrate. Luke had a lot of fun wakeboarding and worked on his 360s off the wake. Not too much of a baby bump for Tiff yet but Janetta sent me my Christmas presents early (some cute shirts) so I can wear them now while they still fit.

The heartbeat of America
Hooray! We are expecting a baby on April 21 (the due date should have been on Luke's birthday on the 22 but it is leap year) and we are really excited! Today was my second appointment with the Dr. and Luke came with me and we heard the baby's heartbeat. The Dr. said it sounds healthy and it is nice and fast. We will have our ultrasound sometime towards the beginning of December :)
